This is the year that I am less busy on Saturdays as
I have paused for a while from teaching the Word of God
at church to the young kids who will listen, to take
stock of where I am off to in my remaining years....
But, as I still want to get to my heaven when I leave
this plane, I am still advocating the Ten Commandments
and believing in the Beatitudes which are guidelines
from the Father(God) and the Son(Jesus).
The recent disaster that hit the Japanese soil has
raised many conclusions on why it happened and whether
the world is coming to an end, which if it does happen,
will save me the time to bother about getting to
my heaven sooner than expected, LOL!
But, I am also in the process of reading a book that
is giving insight into the natural causes of things and
why they happen. The book, if any of you have come
across it, is entitled: 'Ariel, Interview with an Angel'
and is as thought-provoking as it is enlightening.
I have spoken to a few of my friends who happened to
listen to my comments on what Ariel has to reveal in
the book and, for interest sake, have promised to
summarize it for them. Bottom line.. it's all about
Love and I believe Ariel, as our good Lord is all about
Love anyway, so to me it is nothing new, as I teach my
kids, all the time, that "God is Love".
Have a nice life and stay smiling...

How To Stay At Your Desired Weight
Hello Good People,
All of us would like to look good and be able to fit into the dress or suit we graduated in, if at all possible, or at least not look in the mirror and frown at the bulges that we see appearing in the wrong places. So here is some advice on how to stay at your desired weight once you have it.
Basically, just watch your food intake and activities and burn more than you eat.
Be on the move at every opportunity, even while sitting in front of the computer. While waiting for a site to come on, for instance, you could do some arm and leg movement or take a walk.
Whenever possible, when you have to make a choice, choose to walk instead of using a vehicle. It would even be better if you could jog or run besides just strolling. And a run around a field or block when time permits will do a world of good.
The majority of calories are burned in the process of running so instead of depending on miraculous ways to lose weight, apply your own efforts by eating less and moving about more regularly.
Use the steps if you live in an apartment. It does not take up a lot of time unless you live on the top floor or above 10th storeys.
Eat less junk food like potato chips and tortillas and stick to wholesome foods such as fruits, vegetables and bread. Imagine your body as a car that burns your weight and fats. Perform the workouts you set out to do.
Plan an exercise program you can do almost daily and gradually increase your workout level. Reduce your spicy meal in a week and work towards healthy meal eating.
Think in practical terms if you happen to be at an undesirable weight and want to lose some.
Plan to lose about one to two pounds per week for a start. If you lose weight rapidly you will revert back to the original weight soon. Take baby steps. Get in touch with people who have successfully lost weight and follow the same actions they have tried out.
Advisable too is to say to yourself: "I believe I am as slim as I would like to be", and having achieved your targeted objective weight, stick to the regime and stay fit.
Surely, you will then have achieved what you believe to be all goodness for your body.
Peace and blessings,
auntieviv
